The Department of Financial Services, Ministry of Finance is inviting applications for the vacant posts of Chairperson in DRAT Allahabad and DRAT Kolkata, along with any unforeseen vacancies arising by 31.12.2026. Applicants must be a sitting/former High Court Judge, qualified Indian Legal Service officer, or a former DRT Presiding Officer. The tenure is for 5 years or until attaining 70 years of age, whichever is earlier. Duly filled applications must reach the Under Secretary (DRT) by 5:00 PM on or before the closing date.

Eligibility
Candidates must be or have been a Judge of a High Court, or a member of the Indian Legal Service with ten years of experience in litigation holding the post of Additional Secretary or equivalent/higher, or have held the office of Presiding Officer of a Debts Recovery Tribunal for three years.
