Eligibility

Reputed partnership firm, proprietary concern, or LLP with office in Gujarat jurisdiction, staff strength of at least 15 (including min 3 CAs working continuously for past 1 year as on 31/03/2026), gross professional receipts not less than Rs. 50 lakhs in any two out of the last five preceding financial years (2021-22 to 2025-26), minimum 10 years of accountancy and auditing experience as on 31/03/2026, and experience auditing books for tax audit of at least one business entity having turnover of Rs. 50 cr or more in any two of the last five preceding financial years.

Pay scale

Remuneration including expenses shall be decided on a case-to-case basis in accordance with Rule 172 of the I.T. Rules, 2026.

Selection process

Empanelment shall be made at the discretion of the Income Tax Department based on eligibility criteria, relevant factors, inputs, and feedbacks.

1. Submit the application online by filling the Application Form and uploading necessary supporting documents on the official website.
2. Take a print out of the electronically submitted form, sign it (proprietor or all partners with seal and membership number).
3. Submit the physical copy along with supporting documents and original notarized affidavit through post or in person to the Office of DCIT(HQ)(co-ordination), Room No. 202, Aaykar Bhavan, Ashram Road, Ahmedabad-380009 on or before 30/11/2026 by 6:00 PM.
