East Central Railway has invited applications for 07 posts of Instructor (P.Way) on an Ex-Cadre basis at ZRTI, Muzaffarpur. The position is in Level-7 (7th CPC) / G.P. 4600/- (6th CPC) with 12% Teaching Allowance on basic pay. Eligible regular engineering department employees with required service can submit applications through their respective departments by 2026-10-15.

Eligibility
Regular employees of the Engineering Department (excluding ministerial staff) working in the same grade pay of Rs. 4600 (Level-7) or lower grade pay of Rs. 4200 (Level-6) with at least 02 years of regular service. Maximum age should be less than 58 years as on the date of notification.

Selection process
Selection will be based on a Computer Based Test (Objective/Written Test carrying 75 marks) and Classroom Lecture Trial (carrying 25 marks), totaling 100 marks with a minimum passing mark of 60%. There will be a negative marking of 1/3 mark for wrong answers.
