Territorial Army has announced a recruitment rally for 74 posts including Junior Commissioned Officer, Soldier (General Duty), Clerk, Chef, Housekeeper, Washerman, Dresser, Tailor, and Steward in 137 Composite Ecological Task Force Battalion (TA) 39 Gorkha Rifles. Eligible Ex-servicemen and Ex-women employees of MoEF&CC and State Forest Department are required to report for screening at Major Dhyan Chand Stadium New Cantt, Prayagraj (UP) from 16 November 2026 to 21 November 2026. Recruitment is free of cost.

Eligibility
Ex-servicemen (Pension holder only) and Ex-women employees (including premature retiree) of MoEF&CC and State Forest Department on All India Basis with minimum 20 years of service in MoEF&CC/State Forest Department.
Age limit
- Age— – 55 years
- NoteJCOs can serve up to 55 yrs and OR can serve up to 50 yrs (should get enrolled within 5 yrs from date of retirement).

Pay scale
Basic pay and Dearness Allowance as admissible to the rank and service group in the unit.
Selection process
Physical tests, proficiency test (where applicable), interview, and medical test.

- Prepare required documents including Discharge Book (Original), Pension Payment Order (PPO) (Original), passport size photographs, character certificate, and education/domicile certificates.
- Report directly for screening, physical tests, and interview at Major Dhyan Chand Stadium New Cantt, Prayagraj (UP) at 7 AM between 16 November 2026 and 21 November 2026.
