The Customs, Excise and Service Tax Appellate Tribunal (CESTAT) has invited applications for 9 posts of Member (Judicial) and Member (Technical). The selected candidates will receive a fixed salary of Rs. 2,25,000/- per month plus admissible allowances. Eligibility
For Member (Judicial): District Judge/Additional District Judge for 10 years, advocate for 10 years with substantial indirect tax/High Court/Supreme Court litigation experience, or Indian Legal Service Grade I. For Member (Technical): IRS (Customs and Indirect Taxes Group 'A') holding Principal Commissioner or equivalent/higher post with 3 years judicial/quasi-judicial/adjudicating experience.

- Age— – 67 years
- NoteA Member shall hold office for a term of five years or till he attains the age of Sixty-Seven years, whichever is earlier.

Selection process
Search-Cum-Selection Committee comprehensive assessment based on weightage of qualifications and personal interaction/interview.
