Eligibility
Officers of Central Government or State Governments or Union Territories or Public Sector Undertakings or recognized Research Institutions or Universities or Semi-Government or Autonomous or Statutory Organizations holding analogous posts on regular basis, or with five years' regular service in Level-6, and possessing a Bachelor's degree with two years' experience of protocol including public relations work.

Selection process
Selection based on evaluation of eligibility, APARs for the last 5 years, and documents by the Selection Committee.
