Candidates must have passed ITI in the relevant trade or possess a regular full-time Bachelor's degree (B.Com, BBA, BSc, BCA, B.Pharm, BSc Nursing) from a UGC-approved university. Candidates must hail from Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.

Pay scale
Monthly Stipend: ₹12,000/- for ITI Apprentices; ₹14,174/- to ₹16,678/- for Graduate Apprentices (including DBT component where applicable).
Selection process
Selection of Trade Apprentices will be based on the percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying ITI examination. Selection of Graduates (Non-Engineering) Apprentices will be based on the percentage of marks obtained in the Bachelor's Degree.
